SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (Branch Manager) in the Warfighter Defense & Systems Integration Department (W), Battle Lab Division (W4), Demonstration & Assessment Team Branch (W41) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. SALARY RANGES BASED ON DUTY STATION: Camp Pendleton, CA: $121,585 - $186,785 Indian Head, MD & Quantico, VA: $121,785 - $187,093 Kirtland AFB, NM: $107,592 - $165,288 Camp Lejeune, NC: $106,437 - $163,514 Fort Story, VA: $108,019 - $165,945
- You will supervise the work of a multi-disciplinary scientific/technical staff engaged in project management, innovative demonstration, test and evaluation activities in military operational environments or exercises, and cyber security support.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that quality work products, with appropriate levels of technical rigor are developed by branch employees and are delivered to the customer on schedule and within budget.
- You will participate in employee selection, career development, succession planning, disciplinary actions, evaluating performance, portfolio management, workload leveling, and business development.
- You will provide technical guidance and collaborative work opportunities for other DoD agencies, inter-agency partners and industry partners with mutual areas of interest and expertise.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading operational test & evaluation, demonstration, experimentation, or assessment of emerging military technology in realistic environments with integrated operational forces to refine requirements and mitigate risk for the improvement and success of emerging science and technology programs.
