FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the DEPARTMENT OF NAVY of the COMFLEACT YOKOSUKA. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***


  • You will conduct and attend periodic meetings and visits to identify any facility problems that have developed and to facilitate work execution.
  • You will provide updates to management on all issues and work efforts beings accomplished for the facilities assigned.
  • You will manage and validate deficiency data from Facility Condition Inspections to help develop the Maintenance Action Plans and Maintenance Execution Plans.
  • You will monitor the emergency service, recurring and minor project expenditures in their supported commands' facilities.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Experience developing and presenting written and oral technical and non-technical information. Experience investigating and diagnosing maintenance and repair problems, evaluating work orders, conducting building and site inspections, and proposing cost-effective solutions. Experience analyzing and evaluating work order requests for repair, maintenance, and construction to be prioritized in support of programming for the following: Maintenance Execution Plan, Maintenance Action Plan, and Long-Range Maintenance Plan. Experience working with various software programs including Microsoft Office and other authorized Navy software programs.
