SECURITY SPECIALIST (COMMAND AND STAFF PROGRAM)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties: 1. Applying security principles, concepts, and practices to independently review, analyze, and resolve complex and sometimes difficult security problems. 2. Implementing administrative security practices and procedures. 3. Assessing the impact of variables such as cost, nature of material/information to be protected, clearance levels required, relationship with various protective and administrative programs, and the privacy of individuals involved in delicate situations. 4. Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, and promoting effective interdepartmental relations with regards to security policies and programs including preparation of reports and briefings on complex topics.
