SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the ACQUISITION SUPPORT LINE of the NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD FAR EAST.
- You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates to meet program goals, objectives and broad command priorities, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
- You will develop performance standards and evaluate work performance of subordinates.
- You will administer long-term, complex contracts of highly specialized, extensive, new or innovative techniques for facilities construction, design, and services affecting major agency programs.
- You will prepare, review, and approve delivery/task order and modification award documentation.
- You will perform cost and price analysis and ensure compliance with cost accounting standards.
- You will conduct periodic meetings with team members for purposes of setting policies/procedures for consistent execution of contract actions (cradle-to-grave), to solicit problems experienced by the team in the procurement processes.
- You will perform pre-award functions for procurements involving complex contracts of highly specialized, extensive, new or innovative techniques for facilities construction, design, and services of significant importance to the agency.
- You will serve as a Contracting Officer.
Requirements
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing comprehensive contract technical guidance, developing solicitations, evaluating proposals, awarding and managing complex contracting functions for architect-engineering, construction, and facility support services.
