LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) in the WEAPONS SUSTAINMENT MGMT DIVISON, SUSTAINMENT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT & ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. You will serve as the Air Interception Missile (AIM) - 9X APML within PMA-259 Air to Air Missiles Program Office.


  • You will be responsible for overall planning, management, execution, and oversight of integrated product support, sustainment, maintenance, and logistics operations.
  • You will ensure team members complete all assigned tasking, action items, and program requirements in a timely, accurate, and professional manner consistent with program objectives and Fleet readiness priorities.
  • You will lead and coordinates all logistics, sustainment, readiness, and supportability activities across assigned programs.
  • You will provide oversight and guidance for logistics operations supporting Fleet and test activities, including coordination of asset movement, transportation planning, depot repair actions and maintenance scheduling

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Communicating clearly with Senior Leadership, both verbally and written; 2) Demonstrating experience with testing criteria, rapid acquisition processes, Personnel Management resources, Budget management and Financial controls; 3) Demonstrating familiarity with contracts management and contract performance; 4) Developing logistics documentation and initial maintenance training; 5) Demonstrating experience with the development and execution of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives; 5) Prioritizing tasks, funding, workloads, and manpower resources.
