ENGINEER
You will serve as an Engineer in the Combat Systems Installations Division, Modernization & Installation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
- You will provide interdisciplinary systems engineering leadership for all phases of LCS Mission Module and unmanned systems sustainment and operations.
- You will provide oversight of tasking for government and contractor personnel, setting mission priorities, problem resolution, and readiness of embarked and ashore equipment.
- You will apply theories, principles, practical concepts, and engineering processes related to solving complex problems and optimizing mission readiness.
- You will participate in multiple operational and support meetings/forums for the coordination of events, including maintenance, embarkation, logistics, quality assurance and engineering
- You will manage and lead Mission Module Readiness Center work involving operation, maintenance, integration, testing, and sustainment of Mission Module and Unmanned systems across multiple disciplines.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Engineer applying advanced theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods of Engineering to conceptualize, develop, test, or assess shipboard readiness assessments for combat systems.
