Behavior Health Technician

About the Role: As a Behavior Health Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children and adolescents in community settings. You'll help build communication, social, emotional, and behavioral skills while making a lasting impact on the lives of youth and their families.

Compensation: Starting at $18+/hour (based on experience and credentials)

What You'll Do
- Provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, daycare, and community settings
- Help children build communication, social, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills
- Support positive behavior change using strategies taught through our ABA training program
- Follow individualized treatment plans created by clinical supervisors
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and treatment team members to support client success
- Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their support systems
- Collect and document session data and progress notes accurately and promptly
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings
- Travel between client locations throughout the community

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children or adolescents in any capacity, including:
- Childcare, Daycare, Teaching or educational settings, coaching or sports programs, summer camps, youth programs, Behavioral health or human services, mentoring or volunteer work with youth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while remaining a part of a team
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations
- Commitment to helping children and families achieve their goals
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, but not required
